HOLLY BRECK - kUDOs WINNAAR
Holly Breck is simply a purveyor of positivity. Her energy is genuine and contagious; both demure and vivacious. She likes to say, "I'm just me," but her version of "me" is all about spreading good vibes, being super easy going and making friends. And yet she is most at home hanging with good friends and making them feel special. The only problem, if there could be one with Holly, is that she can pedal a bike like a Whirling Dervish, and she can smile while inflicting pain upon anyone wanting her wheel. Fortunately, if you were lucky enough to actually be in her orbit, she probably pulled you, cheered you on, pushed you up a hill, gave you her water bottle or gels, or simply made your day even more special.
A former motocross star, Holly rides for the premier Rally Cycling Team and finished 6th in this Cedar City race, and while that was a stellar performance, we are celebrating her for the warmth and largess she showed to those lucky enough to be in her orbit in Utah. In fact, with some help from TJ Eisenhart, she put the Awesome in Utawesome.
Holly, Udo is looking down on you from Heaven and cheering you on, just as you do for the rest of us. Cheers to you. Keep it going. Keep us going.
TJ EISENHART - kUDOs WINNAAR
Cycling fans all know Tj as a force to be reckoned with on two-wheels. as a national champion, time trails, stage race winner, overall stage race winner and all-round fantastic rider. But to everyone else not lucky enough to be around TJ these days, he is a bundle of positive energy on and off the bike, with his family, art work, amplifier of love to everyone he meets and the best brand ambassador a company could ever want.
One need look no further than TJ's IG page (https://www.instagram.com/tjeisenhart/) to see what he is all about. Here's his header:
Let’s #spreadlove. Everyone on this planet has a purpose. Let them feel love and support. Let’s be the start, be kind!
On race day, every time we anybody was around TJ, he was hooting and hollering, cheering and chuckling; an endless source of mirth for anyone he encountered. Who doesn't want to be like that, like TJ, like Holly, like Udo? In fact, like a meme of love, I think the more TJ and Holly can spread their unique personal brands of positivity it inspires the rest of us to pass it on. It's contagious, like Holly's smile.
I wrote this to convey it more poetically:
from you and me
as one flower
passes its dance to another
so love grows
at once, the whole meadow is dancing
and, there is no sign of the wind.
